FineArt-prints

We offer two different methods to make fineart prints:

Dialab_fineart_hahnemuhle_herra_ylppo2.jpg

Lambda-prints (C-type)

Photographic C-type prints are made by exposing light onto colour paper, which is then developed RA-4 process and washed using traditional photographic techniques. Exposed by a high resolution digital DURST Lambda printer.

  • Life expectancy: up to 100 years on display – 200 years in dark storage
  • Vivid colours, deep black
  • Natural-looking skin tones
  • Max. width 127cm

Archival C-Type Print - What does Archival mean?
To be truly archival a C-Type print needs to be washed thoroughly with warm water to ensure that all the bleach used when processing is removed. This is why mini-lab prints cannot be classed as archival as a stabiliser is used instead of washing.
